Dependence

We need God's direction to do his work. Only the Holy Spirit can transform a life. Only the Holy Spirit can breathe new life into a church community. Only the Holy Spirit can breathe life into a neighborhood, a community, a city, a nation. God is moving and breathing a transformation into existence. Transforming lives through community is about a movement of God, and we are his hands and feet.

Collaboration
We need to work together. Lifetogether has formed and will form more multiple partnerships that cross denominational lines, to provide resources to churches of all shapes and sizes.

Transferability
We need basic tools to accomplish our mission. At the very core of the Lifetogether philosophy is a system to identify, develop, sustain, and reproduce leaders. Those principles are universal and work in churches of every size, shape, and denominational affiliation.

Learning
We need healthy models. We need to hear from others who have learned from their failures and built working, effective small group ministries.

Focus
We need to remember why…why we do what we do. We've been called to serve, and our "ordination" for ministry comes from Jesus Himself. To sustain our passion for transforming our communities through community, it is required that we guard our hearts… that we tend first the fire of our love for the things of God.
